How Many Points Can I Get on My License?
In New York State, speeding convictions can range from three to 11 points. One point violations do not exist in New York. If you receive 11 points in an 18-month time period, you driver license may be suspended. Also if you get six or more points on your New York State driving record in 18-months time period, you will be required to pay a Driver Responsibility Assessment fee.
