The Town of Carrollton is located on the south Border of Cattaraugus County, southeast of the City of Salamanca.
The Allegheny River flows through the northern portion of the town of Carrollton, from southeast to northwest. Tunungwant Creek flows south to north through the middle of the town, joining with the Allegheny near Riverside Junction. The south town line is the border of McKean County, Pennsylvania.
