Freedom is a town in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. Freedom is a small town with a population of just 2,405 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northeast corner of Cattaraugus County.
The north town line of Freedom is bordering Wyoming County, and the eastern town line is bordering Allegany County.
New York State Route 98 is a major north-south highway through the town, and New York State Route 243 begins at the southeast town line.

Along with these consequences, individuals convicted of traffic violations will likely be required to pay Surcharges ranging from $88 – $93 to the DMV. Second and third time offenders face higher fines and jail sentences.
